Race 1: Sacre Coeur, and Zeki, are running for the first time this season and are well prepared the first named has come good and should be the one to beat.Brut Rose, is also well prepared and should be right there.

Race 2: Toss up Rising Power, or Salt, jockey skill will matter.

Race 3: A Very open race

Race 4: A Gamble race Taj E Shahi, and Danse Debonaire, dont belong in this class but are there for obvious reasons in this company the second named will be tried. Kalinga Star, and Machala, are ones that can upset the first named if she is off to a level start can win.

Race 5: There is a Huge drop in class for Seminyak, who should stay the trip and is the one to beat.Romantic Beauty, has a fair chance at this handicap.

Race 6: 1-3-6-9 should fight for honor here Grande Dame, will improve a lot since last run and is the one to beat.Set Ablaze, will keep her honest.

Pune Derby Day 2012

Race 1: Horses 1-3-4-8-11 all have a fair chance here.Mon Ami,Secret Weapon, and Money Flash should be involved in the important end.

Race 2: Open race my short listed 3 are Rule Forever,Winter Wind, and Borderline, the fast pace will suit the last named most and should win if she is fit.

Race 3: Colossus, has been tracking very well and this is a average set of animals, Choice of jockey is a mystery but I don't think Pesi would enter a horse in Vinayak Trophy and give it a run and if he wanted to do that M Kharadi would be ridding them.Menage A Trois, and Hurricane Wind, both have good merit and should be right there.

Race 4: Once again Vinayak Trophy although Barringo, and Nush, have the best credentials and tracking well will be fancied and will be the ones to beat the entry of Hemisphere, who is blazing the track with Vinayak's Work jockey I Pasha aboard shows serious intent.New World, is also tracking very well and is the dark horse.

Race 5: Toss up between Star Future, and Nefyn, the second named is better and should prevail.

Race 6: A wide open race and many horses have a fair chance My short listed 3 on handicap are Home Factor,Hidden Goodness, and Follow Me, The first named is tracking very well and placed well on handicap to win here the second named is very well placed on handicap and the last named is the joker in the pack ignore her last run she will be in the fray today.

Race 7: Turf Lightning, and Portia, should fight it out the first named is better with a benefit of a run and distance.

Race 8: THE NANOLI STUD PUNE DERBY (GR.1)
1) Amazing Desire, : Interesting choice of jockey obviously malesh thinks he has a chance but distance looks out of Radar.
2) An Acquired Taste, : A very good animal well prepared and has the most experienced jockey in the set should be the one to beat.
3) Angel Crown,: A Genuine stayer can run all day obvious pace maker but if Sandesh who is a very good judge of front running pace run a fast pace race he will pick up his second Derby.
4) Commander, : Improving with every run and will stay and improve further is a danger to all but I feel the race has come a bit too early for him.
5) Okavango,: Another improved animal that should stay well a likely pacemaker but lacks the class.
6) Shivalik Hero,: Impressive winner first up but no track work since win which is strange its possible he has been given slow work to keep him fresh keep in mind in his last run he beat Blue ace who did not stay the trip and was then beaten my commander by 8 lengths so I have my doubts on him.
7) Supreme Minstrel, : Very impressive winner in his last run the extra distance will make him even stronger and if there is a Upset here he is the one.
8) Tintinnabulation,: Impressive horse interesting move by the trainer to bring him here tracking well and looks ready for a classic win they all have to beat him provided he can handle the pune track.
9) Halle, : Not Here
10) Razeenaa, : not here.

Race 9:  Star Mountain, should improve with distance and is the one to beat.Jen's Glory, at this distance and handicap is the joker in the pack.

Race 10: A very open race to end the day many horses in with a chance,Astromia, and Danse Debonaire, have a huge drop in class the second named is under performed with blinker may perform.Fairy Queen, is the joker in the pack should be in the fight will place can upset.

It is fair to say that I have failed miserably in the past few months and in the best interest of people who follow me this will be my final post as there is no point anymore as I am finding it extremely difficult to focus or see true form.

Race 1: 1: I have my doubts on Red Baron, staying the trip,hence the race looks like a toss up between Rancho, and Cypress Point, who is better placed in terms of handicap to Swift Memories.

Race 2: Jacqueline Smile,  is better then this set but intent is a ?? should win if tried.Royal Fantasy, is the joker in the pack should run a good race today can upset should place.

Race 3: This race can be a very tricky one for punters best to stay away because i have a feeling one of the unknown jockeys can win here.I am going to have a small each way bet on Edge Of Glory,  the half brother to Phenomenale. However if ridden on merit Holiday Dancer, and Crowned Princess,  can win here.

Race 4: Volterra, manner of victory was too good and should repeat, the danger is Cent Per Cent.

Race 5: 2yo first timers best to avoid but keep in mind Modus Vivendi, is the oldest of the foals and Pesi wouldn't run he if he was not 100 percent sure she is ready to race.Street Fighter, is very young 4 months younger then the first named and is a false favorite.

Race 6: Another bad race Arusha, and Ice Affair, will be the ones to beat.

Race 7: Many horses will tried here but Illustrious, is now ready to win and should do the same.

Race 8: Very open race worst of the day best to avoid or look for value bets.Three Roses, and Celsius,represent value.

Race 9: Horses 1-2-4-5-8 have a fair chance here Samburu, will relish the step up in distance and should be the one to beat.Make note of Fairy Empress, who is now running under her winning handicap and will the right there can upset don't ignore.

Very Open card today best bet is to go slow.


Race 1: VB race over 12flg is best to leave or follow the best stayer in the set and that is Apache Indian, who has won this distance twice and Fifth Gear, does have a good handicap and should be there to trouble the first named.

Tips: Apache Indian, 

Race 2: Rodeo, is better then Brunello, and will prove the same.Carlyle Hills, is the only danger and should run a brave race today.

Race 3: Wide open race with many horses in with a fair chance if intent is there and keeping in mind none of them are outstanding an upset is likely.Horses 2-4-8-9 are my short listed 4 Scaramouche, and Divine Inspiration, look well prepared the second named is running first time and is hard to say.The choice of rider on Intequam, suggest intent which gives him a fair chance. Gararo, is a unsound horse and running after a year but his track work suggest he is a good horse and if right can upset.

Race 4: Haunting Fantasy, who is a better class animal is running after a long lay off hence avoided.Incognito, and Yuville, are in good form the former's last run is best ignored as he dint have the luck in the race and the second named is in great heart but will be tested by Snow Blaze, who is better at handicap and will be the one to beat.

Race 5: Macedonian, has been a let down many times today's set is mediocre but horses 5-8-9 can beat him if tried.Zambezi, has had 2 easy runs and today 11kg and Sandesh will see her at the best and should be the one to beat.Yardstick, is a joker in the pack and can upset or sneak in a place.

Race 6: Another open race Montezuma, is very well bred and tracing well too first run over a mile indicates the confidence of the trainer is pitted against some average horses and should do well but being first run its hard to say.Home Advantage, and Que Sera Sera, have some form and experience but have disappointing so far Seminyak, is the joker in the pack and can surprise them all.

Race 7: A Very open race horses 1-2-4-5-8-9-11-12 all have a fair chance if the intent is there.My shortlisted 4 are 4-5-11-12.The connections of Oriental Sapphire, have opted to run her in a higher class which will work for her as she does not seem to carry weight and will give them a run for the money. Roesti, and Light My Way, are both genuine milers and are ready to strike.Winds Of Fortune, finished on well last time and is running in a handicap race for the first time but intent is unknown from this inconsistent stable.

Race 8: Borak, has run in better company and will be hard to toss if the intent is there. Make note of Phosphor, in this set the only thing against her is the age but if there is a upset she is the one.
